Playgrounds Cafe offers 100% private rentals for birthday parties, baby showers, and more. These private rentals allow guests to have the place fully to themselves to focus on their guests and little ones.

With a variety of packages, parents can enjoy just the space rental or have the option to have a completely custom party ready for them when they walk in the door. Like Playgrounds play sessions, our party rentals cater to parents so they can actually enjoy their child’s celebration instead of feeling like they have to work at it.

The Sandbox

Playgrounds Party FAQs

Our play space is designed for littles ages 6 months to 6 years. Older children are welcome to play alongside the littles, we just ask that they are respectful of the space and equipment.

Yes! All p birthday parties at Playgrounds Café include private access to the play area, café seating, and coffee bar so your group can celebrate together.

Our private party packages are built to accomodate a range of group sizes with any combination of children and adults. Our space holds around 50 comfortably, but with plenty of space to spread out - we can accommodate more if needed!

Parties include 2 hours of celebration time, plus 30 minutes before your party for setup. Our team will also help with cleanup so you can focus on celebrating!

Yes! Outside food, drinks, and decorations are welcome during private parties. We also have packages that include those items so everything is ready when you arrive!

All of our party packages include plates, napkins, silverware, and tablecloths. We also have cake knives, cupcakes stands, serving utensils, and lighters available for you to borrow during your party!

Since you have the space to yourself, you can set whatever schedule you would like! Most families follow this schedule:

1st Hour: Play & Eat (if meal or snacks are provided)
2nd Hour: Cake - Presents - More Play

We recommend that singing happy birthday takes place at least 30 minutes before the end of the party. Our team is happy to help guide you on timing if you would like!

Set up: Families are welcome to arrive 30 minutes before the party start time to set up. NOTE: If you have selected a party package that includes decorations, your party will be "Picture Ready" 15 minutes before your party start time. You are still welcome to arrive 30 minutes before the party start, our team might still be getting the final details up!

Tear Down: Our team will notify you 10 minutes prior to the party end time. They will start to pack up your items so you can focus on saying good by to your guests! Our staff will take care of all cleaning and trash disposal. We ask that you and your guests exit the building no later that 15 minutes after your party end time. This allows our staff time to clean and reset for the next party or day!

Yes, a $150 deposit is due to reserve your date and time. The remaining balance is due at the end of the party.

Yes! We are happy to add decorations, food, and balloons after booking. We will call to confirm details and add on requests the week of your party.

We know life happens and plans change. We try our best to accommodate changes as they arise and follow the procedures below as stated in the party booking terms and conditions.

Parties cancelled more than 30 days before scheduled party date can apply deposit to a future party reservation within 12 months of original scheduled party.
Any cancellation within 14 days of scheduled party shall result in an additional $50.00 cancellation fee, on top of the party deposit. Future use of party deposit will be forfeited.
