How do Mini Birthday Parties work?
Mini Parties give you your own private party space while still enjoying all the fun of Playgrounds!
The Nook is exclusively yours for the full 105 minutes, giving you a private space for food, cake, presents and celebrating.
Mix in up to 75 minutes of Open Play throughout your party, while the rest of Playgrounds remains open for regular play.
ARRIVE & SETTLE IN
The birthday family may arrive up to 10 minutes before the party start time to get settled in. We’ll have The Nook party-ready when you arrive!
PLAY & CELEBRATE
Mix Open Play with time in The Nook however it works best for your crew. There’s no set schedule - play, snack, celebrate and make the party your own!
CAKE & PARTY TIME
Gather everyone back in The Nook for birthday dessert, singing, presents and any final celebrating together.
CHEERS & GOODBYES
Finish your celebration together in The Nook, say your goodbyes, and leave the cleanup to us!

Mini Party FAQs
Can we bring outside food or drinks?
Mini Parties include birthday animal crackers and juice boxes for each child, with optional party platters available to add when booking. You’re welcome to bring a birthday cake, cupcakes or similar birthday dessert, but all other food and beverages must be purchased through Playgrounds. Our café will be open throughout your celebration, and party hosts can also open a tab for their guests!
How many children and adults can I invite?
Mini Parties include admission for 6 children, including the birthday child, with the option to add up to 4 additional children for $18 each. The maximum is 10 children and 20 total guests, including adults.
Will we have a private space for our party?
Yes! The Nook is reserved exclusively for your group for the full 105 minutes. The Play Area and café remain open to regular Playgrounds guests during Mini Parties. If you’d like the entire space to yourself, check out our Private Party options.
Can I bring my own decorations?
We’ll have The Nook party-ready with solid-color tableware, a tablecloth and a mini helium balloon bouquet. You’re welcome to bring small tabletop decorations or a personalized birthday banner. To keep setup quick and protect the space, outside balloons, balloon garlands, confetti, glitter, large backdrops and décor requiring installation are not permitted.
How early can I arrive?
The birthday family may arrive up to 10 minutes before your scheduled party time to get settled. We’ll take care of the party setup beforehand, so there’s no need to arrive early to decorate!
Can I add more than 10 children?
Mini Parties are designed for smaller celebrations and have a maximum of 10 children. If your guest list grows beyond 10 kids, one of our Private Party packages will be a better fit and gives you the entire Playgrounds space for your celebration.
What's the difference between a Mini Party and a Private Party?
Mini Parties are designed for smaller celebrations and include a private party room while Playgrounds remains open for regular play. Private Parties give your guests exclusive access to the entire Playgrounds space and offer more flexibility for larger guest lists, food and décor. Not sure which one fits? What do I need to bring?
Just the birthday kid and the birthday dessert! We’ll have your party space, tableware, balloons, kids’ juice and birthday snacks ready when you arrive. Add party platters when booking or order additional food and drinks from the café during your celebration.
